Avianna Carrillo, a junior at Bakersfield Frontier High in California, won the silver section of the girls 100-meter dash in a wind-aided 11.95 seconds at the West Coast Relays at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Carrillo also finished fifth in the gold section of the 200 meters in a wind-legal 25.25 seconds.
